How portable do you want? our pendant sizes are from tiny A2 (above the piano top note) these could reach an octave plus one note and the next larger size G2 plays an octave plus three notes.F,Eb,D and C2 are all pendant sizes and all play a full range of an octave plus three and a half notes chromatically as do the following sizes/keys:Bb,A,G.F,and larger than pocket-size E,D,C1,Bb,A,G,F-to Large Eb,D and middle C. If you like to travel a lot I recommend a small pendant Eb or D,which although high in pitch, are sweet and smooth for the whole range.
The Eb I recommend as most portable costs 19 pounds sterling including post and packing in UK The slightly larger in D is 20 pounds both are inclusive of quality hellenic goatskin thong and full instructions in UK
Depends on the capabilities of the player, whereas very sophisticated western harmonic pieces are easy to play in concert wth our popular fippled range,( which are less expensive and are sufficiently loud for chamber performance ) - besides being exactly in tune and richly dynamic playing chromatically too. There is a wide and growing range of tunes availiable on line for these.
Four C tonic ocarinas are availiable. Middle C (large) C1,C2, and the very tiny C3 C1 (medium) has a large finger (LeftIndex21mm) tone-hole,but those with average sized fingers can usually cover and uncover it efficiently.
C2 costs £44. plus £4.50 p+p in UKEURO C3 is pendant sized and costs £17.50 plus £2.50 p+p in UK/Europe.
