This vision was remembered by the tribe to be re-told.
But then Mud and Red Deer left on the great Firebird quest. Mud and his son walked off towards the dawn and were never seen again for many moons.

Nine Moons after Mud and Red Deer disappeared into the distance, twins were born to Ani, the wife of Mud's eldest son Wise OwI.

In due course they took the names Ren, who was a boy, and Orca who was a girl. Nine times as many as ten and three moons later , Orca and Ren came to the base of the mountain again, which was known as the Firebird mountain.

They were there for the ninth time at the place of their birth and at the place of the Firebird which the tribe visited every thirteenth moon and remained hunting for two or three moons.
