We call Brian Ransom a Doctor of
Ceramic Music, but there is no such degree, of course. If there were
such a degree, he would
have it. We have seen and played his Giant Whistling Water Vessels,
Multi-Chambered 'Sweetheart' Ocarinas (two player).
He has made concert Trumpets and Saxaphones
from Clay. Pictured here: Twin Ocarinas, each with One BIG tone
hole providing a range
of one octave. They are the size of a nice Cantaloupe, the vessel
is 5" in diameter and 6" tall, the mouthpiece
extends 3" more. The range is second E below (middle C) to first E below.
